Perspectives on Progress

2025: TGIO

We’re in the final stretch of 2025. And not to wish time away, but we’re kind of looking forward to turning the calendar to a new year. It’s been a wild ride for all of us in the business of sustainability and it feels like we all need a Thank Goodness It’s Over Happy Hour. So, here’s a toast all of you.

Please know that the entire CRI team appreciates you — the positive impact that you are making in your respective companies; the collaborative relationships our team enjoys with your team; and the stories of progress that we are privileged to help you tell. Whether we’re working together now or in the future, we’re excited about what we can accomplish in 2026. Thank you and happy holidays!

The challenges of 2025 spurred lots of new thinking about how to communicate and disclose sustainability progress. Our latest white paper explores one approach for connecting impact to business value.

We reviewed 50 sustainability reports published this year to find out. Editorial Director Mary Gable shares her findings on our blog.

A New Service to Mitigate Greenwashing Risks

Mandatory reporting is not the only regulation to be aware of in global markets. Anti-greenwashing rules are now in effect in many jurisdictions around the world. CRI is pleased to announce a new Green Claims Assessment service — a turnkey process for verifying that report content plays within greenwashing guidelines in target markets.
